Intensive French course in France
Students who need to learn French as quickly as possible should sign up for an Intensive French course, which includes 32 French lessons per week.

General French course in France
The General French course is carefully structured for students to progress one skill level every six weeks and designed for students looking to gain a sound understanding of the essential disciplines of the French language through a well-rounded program. The General French course is available in France for students of any level, from absolute beginners to advanced. You will have 26 French lessons per week.

Basic French course in France
Students who take a Basic French course with EF will learn to understand and speak French in practical situations, while still having plenty of time for relaxing and exploring. Combine a relaxing holiday in France with 20 morning and afternoon French lessons a week.

Internship in France
The EF Internship in France is designed for Upper Intermediate to Advanced French students who want to combine French studies with practical experience working in France. The French internship course is a minimum of 8 weeks and that includes approximately 50-100 intern hours in a company matching your interests and abilities. Working part-time at an unpaid internship, you’ll develop industry-specific language skills, build a personal network in France, and explore your potential as you work alongside native French speakers. At the end of your internship program your perspectives will be global and your CV more attractive for employers both in France and around the world.

French exam preparation courses in France
EF offers specialized exam preparation courses for the DELF and DALF exams, the two most common French language exams offered in France. Whether you are preparing for university entrance in France, trying to get a job, or just wanting to prove your French language skills, a tailored exam preparation course for the individual exam and level you will be taking is the best way to maximize your possible score.

Le Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française (DELF)
The DELF exam can be taken at 4 different levels ranging from a basic knowledge of French (DELF A1) to an advanced level where the user has a higher degree of independence and fluency in using the language (DELF B2).

Le Diplôme Approfondi en Langue Française (DALF)
An exam for students at a highly advanced level. Consists of written and oral comprehension and expression in a specialized language from candidate's chosen discipline. Offered at 2 different levels, the most advanced (DALF C2) level ensure students are capable of using the language for academic and advanced level purposes. People who have passed the DALF (C1 or C2) are exempt from taking language tests for entrance into French universities.

Accommodation in France

Our French courses in France offer several living options. If you decide on a homestay, you’ll live with a carefully selected host family. Adouble room is usually included in the package price of the course. A homestay in France is an excellent way to experience life as a family guest, and practice your French in a casual atmosphere. But if you are looking for independence and an international crowd, you may want to consider a student residence. In Nice, the Villa Saint Exupéry is a year-round residence with en suite twin/triple rooms for €XX/week, singles for €XX/week. A tasty, all you can eat breakfast buffet is included, all other meals self-catering. Wi-Fi Internet is free. During the summer months there are also more residence options available.

In Paris our main student residences are the Aparthotel Citea chain, with three locations throughout Paris, including two sites only 15 minutes from the Champs Elysées and a third within walking distance to Bois de Vincennes and Place de la Nation. You can choose a twin room for €XX/week, or a single for €XX/week. Phone, cable TV & wireless Internet are available. This residence gives you the ultimate flexibility with self-catering facilities.
